Arrive in sunny and cheerful town of Freiburg at the foot of the Black Forest’s wooded slopes and vineyards. In the morning arrive in Zurich, Switzerland's financial centre. See the charm and beauty of this beautiful lakeside city during an orientation. Continue to Lucerne, a beautiful medieval town set against an impressive backdrop of mountains. View the Chapel Bridge and visit the Lion Monument, built in memory of Louis XVI's Swiss Guard, during your orientation tour. Spend free time afterwards exploring the old town, shopping for watches and chocolates. Cross the Brünig Pass on your way to Bern. Travel via Interlaken in the Bernese Oberland, where you see the mighty Jungfrau, subject to weather conditions. Interlaken is one of the oldest and most popular tourist resorts in Switzerland. Later in Berne your orientation will include the Old Town with its cobbled streets and the Federal Parliament Building. Continue through the Emmental region, famed for numerous culinary delights.
