Day Wise Itinerary

  • Day 1

    COPENHAGEN (2 NIGHTS)

    Welcome to Copenhagen! Unwind after check-in, visit Tivoli Gardens in Scandinavia’s liveliest city.

  • Day 2

    COPENHAGEN

    Today your local city guide takes you on a sightseeing tour of this wonderful city, including seeing from outside the major sights such as the Little Mermaid, Renaissance Stock Exchange, Nyhavn, the Royal Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Palace and the Carlsberg Glyptotek. You’ll have free time to visit one of the galleries or do some shopping.

  • Day 3

    COPENHAGEN - OSLO

    Cross the border into Sweden and continue via Malmö and Gothenburg. Cross the border into Norway and continue to Oslo.

  • Day 4

    OSLO

    In Oslo, your local city guide takes you on a sightseeing tour which includes views from outside of the medieval fortress of Akershus, the Opera and the Royal Palace, finishing with a visit to the Vigeland Sculpture Park. Spend the rest of the day relaxing, shopping for unique souvenirs or perhaps visit the Fram Polar Ship Museum and Museum of Cultural History and Viking Ship Museum.

  • Day 5

    OSLO - STOCKHOLM

    Cross the border into Sweden and continue via Karlstad on Lake Vänern. Pass Örebro to the island-ringed capital of Stockholm.

  • Day 6

    STOCKHOLM

    Admire this charming city during your sightseeing tour with a local city guide. Visit the medieval cathedral - Storkyrkan, see from outside Riddarholm Church, the Royal Palace and the waterside City Hall where Nobel Prize banquets are held. Later, board your ship for an overnight mini-cruise to Finland.

  • Day 7

    HELSINKI

    After an early arrival in Helsinki, your local city guide shows you from outside the city’s sights including Finlandia Hall, Senate and Market Squares. This evening enjoy local cuisine in a local restaurant.

  • Day 8

    HELSINKI - TALLINN

    In the morning board the ferry and cross the sea to Tallinn in Estonia. After arrival admire the sights of Tallinn with your local city guide. Explore the beautifully preserved streets of the old Hanseatic Quarter and 15th century Luhike Jalg Gate and visit Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. This evening enjoy typical specialities at a local restaurant.

  • Day 9

    TALLINN - RIGA

    Enjoy a leisurely morning in charming Tallinn. Travel via Parnu a popular beach resort, follow the Gulf of Riga south into Latvia. Arrive in the ancient city of Riga, Latvia’s capital, made famous by the stories of Baron von Münchhausen.

  • Day 10

    RIGA

    Riga is a beautiful historic city on the Baltic coast. Your local city guide takes you on a sightseeing and walking tour to show you from outside the main highlights: the extensive old town with narrow medieval streets, Gothic and Baroque Churches, 19th century municipal buildings and Hanseatic warehouses.

  • Day 11

    RIGA - VILNIUS

    Leave Riga after lunch and visit the Hill of Crosses at Siauliai before arriving to Vilnius, Lithuania.

  • Day 12

    VILNIUS

    Your local city guide shows you from outside the sights during your walking tour, including the Bishop’s Palace and the University. Explore the Baroque Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, featuring exceptional sculptural decoration. Walk to the Gates of Dawn, see from outside the Carmelite Church of St. Theresa, the former Jewish Ghetto, the Cathedral and the new Royal Palace excavations. Finish at the Church of St. Anna and the site of the synagogue destroyed during World War II.

  • Day 13

    VILNIUS - LIDZBARK WARMIŃSKI

    Depart Vilnius in the morning. In the afternoon arrive in Lidzbark Warmiński, a town in Poland that was once the capital of Warmia and formerly its largest city, a rich center of faith and culture and was known as the Pearl of Warmia. See from outside the Warmian Bishop’s Castle that is considered to be a great artistic and historical value in the world.

  • Day 14

    LIDZBARK WARMIŃSKI - MALBORK - GDAŃSK

    In the morning drive to Malbork. The town of Malbork was built in Prussia around the fortress Ordensburg Marienburg which was founded in 1274 by the Teutonic Knights. This fortified castle became the seat of the Teutonic Order and Europe’s largest Gothic fortress. It is the world’s largest brick castle and one of the most impressive of its kind in Europe. Continue to Gdańsk for International Concert of Organ Music at Oliwa Cathedral.

  • Day 15

    GDAŃSK

    Your local city guide will take you for a sightseeing tour of the Royal Way, Ulica Długa - Long Street, Długi Targ - Long Market, St Mary’s Church and Żuraw - Gdańsk Crane.

  • Day 16

    GDAŃSK - GDYNIA - SOPOT

    Today visit Westerplatte, a peninsula in Gdańsk, famous for the Battle of Westerplatte, the first battle of the World War II. Visit Gdynia, see from outside the 13th century St. Michael the Archangel’s Church, the 17th century neo-Gothic manor house, the Gdynia Harbor with two anchored museum ships, the ORP Blyskawica destroyer and the Dar Pomorza Tall ship frigate. Visit Sopot, famous for its International Song Festival, the second largest such event in Europe and have a stroll on the longest wooden pier in Europe.

  • Day 17

    GDAŃSK

    Continue sightseeing of Gdańsk.

  • Day 18

    GDAŃSK - ŻELAZOWA WOLA - WARSAW

    In the morning leave Gdańsk for Żelazowa Wola. The village is the birthplace of pianist and composer Frédéric Chopin. It is known for its picturesque Masovian landscape, including numerous winding streams surrounded by willows and hills.

  • Day 19

    WARSAW

    Visit the Old Town and the site of the Warsaw ghetto during your morning sightseeing tour with a local city guide. Admire from outside the Palace of Culture and Science. Later don’t miss a trip to the Wilanow Palace, the residence of Polish King Jan Sobieski III. Tonight celebrate with your fellow travellers at a Farewell Dinner.

  • Day 20

    WARSAW

    Transfer to the airport. Departure.
