Walk in the Footsteps of Royalty: Explore King's Way in Krakow's Historic Heart!

Join me on my favourite and Kraków's most beautiful stroll. It is a part of the Royal Route, which was traditionally used by Polish kings for processions and official ceremonies. King's Way stretches from the Barbican, a medieval fortification, to the Wawel Castle, the former residence of Polish monarchs.

The route is lined with beautifully preserved historic buildings that showcase various architectural styles, reflecting the city's rich history. As we stroll along King's Way, we will encounter grand townhouses, elegant palaces, and charming cafés, all contributing to the unique atmosphere of the area.

I will show you the most picturesque spots to take the most beautiful photos of Kraków.

Day Wise Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Kraków Tour Itinerary
    • We will start our tour from Matejko Square.
    • We will pass Planty Park and walk along Floriańska Street to the Main Market Square. We will make a comfort stop there.
    • After that we will continue down Grodzka Street towards Wawel Hill with the Royal Castle - seat of Polish kings and queens and Royal Cathedral. You will also see where Kraków's dragon used to live.
    • During our walk you will see from outside Kraków's highlights: St Florian's Church, the Barbican, St Florian's Gate, Planty Park, St Florian's Street, the largest square in Europe - the Main Market Square, Cloth Halls - Sukiennice, St Adalbert's Church, St Mary's Church, Houses around the Main Market Square, Grodzka Street, the oldest and narrowest Kanonicza Street, Wawel Hill with the Royal Castle and Royal Cathedral.

    This tour is subject to change, depending on the will of clients, time or weather. All my trips are tailor-made.

    As this is a walking tour, please don't forget to wear comfortable shoes!
